She was born on 9th September, 1955, in Włocławek. She is a theatre and television actress. She also works as a casting director and production manager.
In 1978, she graduated from the Acting Department of the Aleksander Zelwerowicz National Academy of Dramatic Art in Warsaw. That same year, she started working for the Contemporary Theatre in Warsaw, where she spent the following two years. Then, in 1980, she signed a contract with Teatr Rozmaitości (Variety Theatre) in Warsaw. In mid-1980s, Hanna Bieniuszewicz emigrated to Canada and stayed there for 17 years.
She is most widely recognised for her role as Ewa Majewska in the television series ‘Alternatywy 4 / 4, Alternative Street’ (1983). Before that, she was cast in the following films: ‘Barwy ochronne / Camouflage’ (1976) directed by Krzysztof Zanussi and ‘Seksmisja / Sexmission’ (1983) directed by Juliusz Machulski. Following her return from Canada, Hanna Bieniuszewicz chose to play mostly in various television productions, for example in ‘Klan’ (in the years 1997-2022), ‘Pierwsza miłość’ (in the years 2004-2022), ‘M jak miłość’ (in which she partnered up with Małgorzata Kożuchowska and Joanna Koroniewska), ‘Przyjaciółki’ (2012), or in ‘Lekarze / Doctors’ (2014), the latter of which was filmed in Toruń.
As a casting director, Hanna Bieniuszewicz was involved in the film ‘Smoleńsk’ (2016) directed by Antoni Krauze and the television productions ‘Ślad’ (in the years 2018-2020) or ‘Akademik’ (2021).
