Tucholski Paweł

Paweł Tucholski is a film and theatre actor, and a voice-over actor, who was born on 6th February 1969, in Żnin, in the region of Pałuki. He is a graduate of the Aleksander Zelwerowicz National Academy of Dramatic Art in Warsaw and he Voice Studio in Poznań.

His artistic career began in Żnin. As early as in his teen years, he performed in the Albert Tison’s Theatre established by Jerzy Lach. After graduating from the secondary school, he tried and failed to pass entry exams to the AST National Academy of Theatre Arts in Kraków, which brought him to the Voice Studio. One year later, he was also enrolled as a student of the Aleksander Zelwerowicz National Academy of Dramatic Art in Warsaw. 

Paweł Tucholski is a two-time winner of Przegląd Piosenki Aktorskiej (Polish festival of singing actors) in Wrocław, and winner of Grand Prix at Wojewódzki Przegląd Teatralny (Provincial Festival of Theatres) in Bydgoszcz. 

In the years 1993-1994, he worked at Teatr Kwadrat in Warsaw, and then, in the years 1994-2001, at the Drama Theatre in Warsaw, in the latter of which he performed in such stage plays as “Man of La Mancha” written by M. Leigher and D. Wasserman, or „Gra pozorów by J.C. Carnier. 

Paweł Tucholski’s professional portfolio includes more than 20 roles in full-length films and TV series. As for his achievements on the silver screen, you can remember him from „Młode wilki” (1995), „Kochaj i tańcz” / “Love and Dance” (2008), or „Ostatnia akcja” / “The Last Action” (2009). His film portfolio also includes many roles in TV series, for example „Dom (1997), „Boża podszewka” / “God’s Lining” (1997), „Klan” (1997), „Złotopolscy” (1998), „Kasia i Tomek” (2002), „Kryminalni” (2005), „Prawo Agaty (2013), or, last but not least, in „Bodo” (2016).

He is also a voice-over actor, and you can hear his voice in “The Lion King” (1994) or in “Aladdin” (1992).

In 2014, he participated in the first edition of the TV talent show „Twoja twarz brzmi znajomo”, taking the fifth place.
