Antoni Ostrouch is a theatre and film actor, was born on 31st August, 1958, in Włocławek. He moved to Warsaw to study, where he graduated from the Acting Department of the Aleksander Zelwerowicz National Academy of Dramatic Art in Warsaw, in 1981.
Shortly after finishing studies, he took his first steps on a theatre stage, at the Leon Kruczkowski Theatre in Zielona Góra,where he worked until 1983. In the years 1984-2006, he performed on stage of the Drama Theatre in Warsaw. Then, in 2006, he started performing forthe Polish Theatre in Warsaw, which he has continued to this day.
His film début came with the role of a policeman in the TV series Dom, in 1980. A number of years later, in 1985, Antoni Ostrouch was cast for the full-length film …jestem przeciw / … I Am Against directed by Andrzej Trzos-Rastawiecki, which was a commentary on the problem of young drug addicts.
During his career, he also played the professional hitman Jose Ramirez Navaz in the political drama Gracze / Players (1995), in which he played alongside Janusz Józefowicz from Świecie. In 2016, he was cast to play the last German Emperor Wilhelm II in the bio-pic Bodo directed by Michał Kwieciński. The script for the film was inspired by the life of Eugeniusz Bodo, a great star of the Polish cinema from the inter-war period.

In 2002, he played as Piotr Grauber, nickname “Gruby”, in the TV series Sfora, and its cinema version Sfora: bez litości. In 2018, Antoni Ostrouch was cast to play the director of a department store in the TV crime series Rojst, alongside Dawid Ogrodnik and Andrzej Seweryn, among others.
