Jędrzejewski Stanisław

Stanisław Jędrzejewski was born on 4th April 1928, in Bydgoszcz. He was a theatre and film actor.

He studied acting at the Bydgoszcz Drama School and at Studio Dramatyczne (Drama Studio) in Poznań. In 1949, he started working as an actor at the Polish Theatre in Bielsko-Biała, where he performed until 1951. After that, he spent the successive seven years performing on stages of various theatres in Poznań. In 1957, he started working for the Juliusz Słowacki Theatre in Kraków, where he spent the successive 31 years (until 1988).

You can see Stanisław Jędrzejewski starring in two films. In 1955, he played in the film ‘Godziny nadziei / The Hours of Hope’ directed by Jan Rybkowski, and in ‘Bolesław Śmiały / King Boleslaus The Bold’ (1971) by Witold Lesiewicz.

The actor died on 14th January 1997, in Police.
