Fischbach Ryszard

Ryszard Fischbach was born on 25th March 1935, in Bydgoszcz. He was a theatre and film actor.

In 1960, he graduated from the Acting Department of the Leon Schiller Polish National Film, Television and Theatre School in Łódź. The very same year (on 9th April), he made his stage début in the play ‘Twelfth Night, or What You Will’ directed by Jerzy Walden, at Teatr Powszechny in Łódź. He performed in Teatr Ziemi Opolskiej (in the years 1960-62), in Wanda Siemaszkowa Theatre in Rzeszów (in the years 1962-64), in Stefan Jaracz Theatre in Częstochowa (in the years 1967-69), in the Polish Theatre in Bydgoszcz (in the years 1969-72), or in Witold Gombrowicz Municipal Theatre in Gdynia (in the years 1972-83). In the years 1983-1987, Ryszard Fischbach worked for Bałtycka Agencja Artystyczna BART. After that, he performed on theatre stages in Elbląg, Radom, Legnica and Jelenia Góra.

Ryszard Fischbach was also cast in three Polish film productions, including ‘Psy / Pigs’ (1992) directed by Władysław Pasikowski, and in two TV series.

The actor died on 2nd August 1997. He was interred at Municipal Cemetery Przybków in Legnica.
