Ziętek Tomasz

Tomasz Ziętek, born on the 28th of June 1989 in Inowrocław, is a stage and film actor, as well as a musician and the graduate of Danuta Baduszkowa School of Acting and Singing at the Musical Theatre in Gdynia.

He debuted in 2005 at the Nowy Theatre in Słupsk in the play Betleyem polskie (Polish Betleyem).

His acting career started with a bit part in the film ,,Czarny Czwartek. Janek Wiśniewski padł” (“Black Thursday. Janek Wisniewski Fell”) (2011), in which he played Zbyszek  Godlewski  – a slain man carried on a door. However, the crucial moment in his career was in 2014, when he gave a fine performance as Rudy in ,,Kamienie na szaniec” (“Stones for the Rampart”). This part opened the door to a great acting career. Since then, his name has been constantly present in the cinemas.

In 2015 he played in ,,Body/Ciało” with such actors as Janusz Gajos, Maja Ostaszewska and Adam Woronowicz. Other well-known productions in which he appeared are ,,Konwój” (“Convoy”) (2016) and ,,Cicha Noc” (“Silent Night”) (2017). The latter received numerous awards, including at the Polish Feature Film Festival in Gdynia and nine Eagles – the awards of the Polish Film Academy. Moreover, one of the Eagles was given to Tomasz Ziętek for supporting actor.

Tomasz Ziętek is also a guitarist and singer in The Fruitcakes band.
