She was born on 15th September 1968, in Lipno, which was also the birthplace of Pola Negri. She is a theatre, film, and voice-over actress.
In 1991, she graduated from the Aleksander Zelwerowicz National Academy of Dramatic Art in Warsaw. The same year, she started working for the Polish Theatre in Warsaw, where she continued to perform, until 2010. In the years 2011-2019, she performed on stage of the Zagłębie Theatre in Sosnowiec.
The year 1991 also marks Małgorzata Sadowska’s début on the silver screen, when she played alongside Jan Nowicki and Beata Kawka in the film ,,Panny I Wdowy” / “Maidens and Widows” directed by Janusz Zaorski. A TV series based on that film was made and released the same year, too.
As for the above-mentioned Jan Nowicki, he played the main protagonist in the film ,,Kraj świata” (1993) directed by Maria Zmarz-Koczanowicz, in which we could see Małgorzata Sadowska. Two years later, in 1995, she partnered up with Bogusław Linda in the drama film ,,Tato” / “Dad”. Later on, she played two of her iconic roles, namely as Halinka Struzikowa and then as Halinka Bocian in the films and TV series ,,U Pana Boga w ogródku” (2007 and 2009) and ,,U Pana Boga za miedzą” (2009) directed by Jacek Bromski. She also worked with Jerzy Gruza and played in two of his films, i.e. ,,40-latek. 20 lat później” (1993) and ,,Yyyreek!!! Kosmiczna nominacja” (2002). She was starred in the comedies ,,Poranek kojota” / ,,Coyote’s Morning” (2001) and ,,Król przedmieścia” (2002), both directed by Olaf Lubaszenko, or in the comedy ,,Bejbi blues” / “Baby Blues” (2012) directed by Katarzyna Rosłaniec.
Małgorzata Sadowska is also famous for her performance in such TV series as ,,Miłość nad rozlewiskiem” (2010), ,,Cisza nad rozlewiskiem” (in the years 2013-2014), and ,,Pensjonat nad rozlewiskiem” (in the years 2017-2018), or in ,,Kryminalni” (2004), ,,Ojciec Mateusz” (2011, 2018), ,,Prawo Agaty” (2012), and ,,Znaki “(2018). She has played the role of Henryka Kazuń, cousin of the Lubicz family in the TV series ,,Klan”, since 2011. In addition, she was also featured in the successive instalments of the TV series ,,Dziewczyny ze Lwowa” (2015, 2017, 2018), and quite recently in the television series ,,M jak Miłość” (2021).
In 2011, she lent her voice to the character of Maria Louisa La Valette in the computer game “The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings”, which was based on a series of novels written by Andrzej Sapkowski and directed by Adam Badowski.
